5 Negara yang Tak Akan Pernah Dikunjungi Ratu Elizabeth II, Ini Alasan di Baliknya

Intisari-Online.com – Dalam catatan sejarah, Ratu Elizabeth II adalah satu-satunya penguasa di Britania Raya yang melakukan perjalanan begitu luas ke suluruh dunia.

Seperti yang diketahui, sang Ratu telah mengunjungi lebih dari 100 negara selama 67 tahun bertahta.

Sejak naik tahta pada tahun 1952, Ratu Elizabetb II telah mengunjungi destinasi-destinasi untuk pertama kalinya dalam sejarah kerajaan di Inggris. Ratu Elizabeth II adalah penguasa Inggris pertama dalam sejarah yang mengunjungi China pada tahun 1986 dan Rusia di tahun 1994.

Kendati demikian, ternyata masih ada negara yang belum dia kunjungi. Dan ini kemungkinan besar tidak akan pernah dia datangi.

1. Yunani

Pulau Antikythera, Yunani

Ratu Elizabeth II belum pernah melakukan kunjungan kenegaraan ke Yunani. Sebenarnya Ratu Elizabeth II pernah ke Yunani bersama Pangeran Philip, namun kala itu dirinya belum bergelar ratu.

Yunani memiliki hubungan erat dengan Pangeran Philip. Saat masih bayi, Philip melarikan diri dari Yunani dengan anggota keluarga lainnya setelah ayahnya dieksekusi.

Karena alasan inilah, Yunani tidak pernah disukai Ratu Elizabeth II.

2. Bhutan

Sang Ratu Elizabeth II telah mengunjungi banyak negara di seluruh dunia baik di Persemakmuran maupun di luarnya.

Bhutan adalah salah satu dari sedikit tujuan yang belum ia kunjungi. Namun, salah satu anggota kerajaan yaitu Pangeran William dan Kate Middleton pernah berkunjung selama tur mereka di India pada tahun 2016.

3. Kuba

Kunjungan kenegaraan ke Kuba belum pernah dilakukan untuk Ratu Elizabeth II. Hal ini karena adanya beberapa batasan perjalanan yang diperuntukan untuk para pelancong dari barat.

4. Argentina

Di Amerika Latin, Ratu Elizabeth II pernah mengunjungi beberapa negara, misalnya Brasil dan Chili di tahun 1968.

Namun, dirinya belum pernah menginjakkan kakinya di Argentina karena sejarah politik.

Menurut bagian urusan luar negeri di Times Michael Binyon, ini karena faktor dari Perang Falklands. Di tahun 1982, Argentina menyerbu wilayah Inggris di Kepulauan Falklands untuk merebut wilayah.

5. Yerusalem

Dilansir oleh Express, Minggu (20/1/2019) silam, Pangeran William telah menjadi anggota keluarga Kerajaan Inggris pertama yang melakukan perjalanan ke Israel pada awal 2018 lalu. Ratu Elizabeth II tidak pernah berkunjung ke negara itu selama masa pemerintahannya.

Alasannya adalah ketegangan politik antara Israel dan Otoritas Palestina yang tidak kunjung berakhir, menurut Telegraph.

Itulah beberapa alasan yang begitu mendasar mengapa Ratu Elizabeth II enggan berkunjung di negara-negara tersebut.
